A cat ran across my path
Tripped on a stick and flopped
The funniest thing I ever did see
But once there was a time it was topped
A man with a hat a big as a chair
Walked along swinging a cane
He rode in a car crystal and clear
Screaming at nothing as if he's insane
But the man knew that people would gather
Come from miles all around
Gaze at his spectacle of wonder
Entranced at the sight they had found
The final trick of the act
Was to be a simple line
Alakazam was to be uttered
But Alakaboom found the man lost in time

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
