Chime
Cyclical sensation of spinning in time
Year after year we yell with a chime
A countdown to toast a loop 'round the sun
Never quite knowing how many times it's been done
Let's make a new list of things to achieve
Goals that we all should hope to exceed
Let's become more lean, let's make more green
Let's even spend less time in front of a screen
So Happy New Years folks, here comes 2019

Dickens
Now ghosts coming for Christmas is a thing of the past.
But somehow, someway Dickens still lasts.
Halloween stole the tales of things that go boo.
But I'm here to tell you that's not always true.
Can you imagine as a child you're left Home Alone.
Or your son thinks he's an Elf but is fully grown.
These horrors still ring like a bell that gifts wings.
Some people even Die, as Hard as that seems.
Enjoy your own tradition on this 25th day.
For me it's a poem, so Merry Christmas I say.

Keister
The bunny hunt, an egg appears
I can wipe away my tears
Four years old and filled with strife
But now all is well within my life
I've found an egg, my victory is sure
Wait someone found two? My vision blurs
Tears again stream down my face
Frantic I search like I'm running a race
Behold another, and another still
Eggs of color, my basket does fill
Time is called, the counting done
I've won the hunt, I've won, I've WON!
I've kicked all my foes right in the keister
And to all of you I wish a Happy Easter

Park
Somehow reverse allotted time
Backward undo my own mind
Collapse construction framed again
Into the void my life begins
When in the space of matter dark
Welcome to the physics park

Breaks
Somersaults through seas of green
Sunny breeze flows down the trees
Jumping to the highest height
Skipping rocks wingless flight
Please summer just don't end
Don't want to go to school again

Drawing
Once in a while
I smile
Because my dear you are near
Drawing me in
Steadying my sin
Your image so crisp and pure
Always to be
You here with me
Goodnight my little black mirror

Celebrate
I've seen the light now
It's come to me quick
The way to the win
Is to run in the thick
Break through the line
Juke to the left
Then flip it around
And slip past the ref
Turn on the Jets
Across the goal line
Do your sick dance
For ten seconds this time

Diversion
Flipping end over end. Flickering
Bent light
A quarter tossed raises sight
The diversion is done
The attention turned
The magicians slight of hand is won

World
Now the sun has come and gone
Daylight sings it's dying song
Setting over hills so far
Comes the night of shining stars
Beautiful this world is
Filled with wonder of a kid
Take the seasons as they come
Steady as that rising sun
The world is a thing of grace
Treat it right, we need this place

Hole
I follow you down
The rabbit hole of lost time
Now stand on my head

Homage
A pattern for you my poet this night
Brighten my eyes to that of new sight
I see phrases refrain from forming a line
To encompass the passing of rhyming in time
But not of injustices discussed to the death
But lacking of poets by those who lack breasts
So homage I praise on a sight seen by few
A male who loves to turn phrases anew

GISH
Gish a wish for me or you
It's a scavenger hunt
It's what you do

Goodness
Goodness my and goodness me
A team together formed by need
Couple this with worldwide
and a race lives on inside
But the winners are not the team
The winners are those receiving

President
Crafted for the phrase today
Words shouted out aloud
Come and listen here I say
You should all be equally proud
A voice to speak
A voice of change
But in the end
Your all the same
Speaking for the voters vote
Speaking for the polling mass
Deeds are nothing but the past
Twisted by a context slashed
So who to pick
Who to choose
Well anyone but Trump
You fools!

Snow
There lived a man from up north
With hair of long locks of course
Snow was his name
Reseruction his game
You'll call him Jesus henceforth

But only these
Written on a page of need
By ones who's only goal today
Is a smile for you,
Now be on your way

Klaxon
Klaxon bands of strung up hair
Whiskers silo through the air
Evervescent scented lights
Crawl along nocturnal nights
Eyes aglow of fireflies
Here kitty kitty come back inside

Refer
I thought if a rhyme for today
It's silly is all I can say
So let me refer
to myself in the third
Oh a pun, wow, you don't say

Mouse
I think today I'll be a mouse
Scurry round throughout the house
Sniff the air, what's there, what's there
Nibble a bit, what's this, what's that
Oh crap, I forgot I own a cat
