Souvenir

Today I found a souvenir
Lucky I was to see it clear
In the riverbed it was kept
Fish swimming by where it was set
My shiny friend glinted at me
Beckoning that I set it free
Into the river I did plunge
Chilled with cold toward it I lunge
Grab the ring from out of its home
And now it is wherever I roam

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
