Cupcakes, ginger snaps, chocolate chip
Cookies, treats, that red velvet
To my heart the joy mounts up
Taste buds sucking like a mothered pup
Damn that sugar, succulent sweet
Mmmm, I concede to the warm oven heat
My mouth waters for those yummy baked goods
Swinging the pendulum of my moods
