Traveling down the road one day
I meant to share a laugh
With a friend of mine who'd passed away
From being sawed in half

The joke I wrote just for him
And was to tell it to his face
But alas my poor friend lost two limbs
When the magician lost his place

The tragedy wasn't that he died
Or that he left a mess
It was, that when, he was to hide
He thought he did... more or less

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
