Procrastinate

Druthers dismissed dear friend or foe
For who can tell what's fate
Alike in kinship we forego
Gliding atop a restless weight
Dizzy and daring all the long day
To which I shout bemused
"I'm tired as hell.", Bequeath my dues
Drive into me the stake I rue
Flex fire full force from passions page
Gauge my restless entitled rage
I pour potential energy, and ooze
A kinetic sense distilled down
Limited beast now densely soothed
I choose the level of renown
I choose
I choose
I choose

About

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
