Cajole

I listened to the little bird
That tweeted secrets in my ear
Chirping who had done what when
Until I could no longer hear
For secrets are but silence lost
Spread to open up a soul
Exposed and raw, so vulnerable
Shredded from a mere cajole
Though don't be fraught their little one
The moment will but soon be gone
For once revealed the magician's trick
Truly stronger do you become

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
