Traffic
And then theirs that time
When the moments align
You find yourself staring
Face to face left aligned
The car opposing is stopped just as you
Morbidly left glancing a view just askew
The eyes meet for a moment or two
What comes next it's all up to you
Smile and nod, or wink and a smirk
Flip you the bird, gosh what a jerk
Then traffic moves and it is all gone
Who in the moment was really the pawn

Back in the day when I smoked, I bummed a cigarette from a guy in the car next to me on the 405. Pretty sure it was on a trip where I was coming to visit you. Oh traffic...you should start writing poems while stuck in traffic and publish it into a book.
