Chuckle

Heh... I chuckle.. A scoff to myself
Expressing a moment of hidden delight
A story not ready to come off the shelf
A memory returns of a past winter night

The anecdote held in air, just a breath
To a person, who knows you more than a bit
Now the light shone upon you, has shifted just left
And your souls left exposed, although with a wit

Swirling entagling life that you live
Capturing faces and places and hearts
What of it all are you expected to give
What new tangled tale is just at its starts

Take what you will and desire me a truth
Always be awake to you in your youth

About

Hi folks, I'm a software development manager. I've worked with computers most of my life. I write a poem a day about whatever strikes my fancy. I hope they make you smile.
